Relativity Space to Launch 3D-Printed Rockets in 2022

Relativity Space, an aerospace manufacturer company, is gearing up to expand its autonomous rocket factory. The rockets manufactured here, all the same, has a deviation. They are 3D-printed. Yes, you read that right. The company is preparing to launch the globe'due south first 3D-printed rocket.

The company aims to reduce the time taken to manufacture space vehicles. Past 3D-printing, the number of components used in the rocket is reduced to about 700 from about threescore,000 on a traditional rocket.

This reduction in the number of components used for manufacturing the rocket enables the company to manufacture the rockets in merely threescore days, which is a huge deviation when compared to a 2-year timeframe fifty-fifty with industry-leading space companies.
